Abstract : This journal analyses the application of information system in management accounting and also the potential and benefits of adopting information system methodologies in business management. Information system methodologies vary quite often but business strategies remain constant for years without major changes. Both of them are mandatory for small as well as large scale business. Accounting bodies and communities have constantly stressed on the need for a shift in accountant’s education by increasing the knowledge of information system. This paper examines the relationship between information system and managerial accounting.
