Abstract : In medical science it is really difficult task for radiologist to find out tumor from brain MRI. Lot of time waste in this process. If there is primary tumor is present then patient is safe but if it is secondary then patient may go through many difficulties. Treatment as early as possible is the solution for the patient. Many brain tumor detection technologies have been find out in the past. The aim of this system is to develop automatic process of detecting brain tumor and finding type of tumor in less time from brain MRI. The PSO based system helps to select optimum features. The SVM is machine learning techniques which classify linear and non linear data sets which tests the detected tumor and gives the name of the type.
