Varied Sequence Reporting for Congestion Control in Wireless Sensor Networks

Abstract
A system that is distributed for sensing, monitoring actuating are explained as Wireless sensor network specifically in the incorporated environment. Generally the occurrence of congestion in WSN is due to packet transmission in a path which is inappropriate from originating to destination. Congestion in sensor network produces extra load in the network. In Wireless Sensor Networks congestion is considered to be main challenge for reducing the available resources of the sensor nodes that are deployed in the network. In WSN need of congestion should be minimized with an approach where it should be for increasing the network performance. In the past there were numerous routing protocol proposed for detection, notification and control for congestion in WSN. To locate for identifying the information regarding routing about each node in the sensor network for efficient transmission over the path after the identification from source sensor node to base station by using Varied sequence reporting. For mitigating congestion in WSN, in this paper, we propose a hybrid Packet Intersection Priority Transmission (PIPT) move towards for lessening congestion in WSN. Data aggregation is through the sensor node in the network for reducing congestion within the network. For evaluation of the WSN hybrid algorithm is proposed. With one or more sinks or base stations along with numerous sensor nodes that distributed over a wide area Varied sequence reporting is very much require for efficient transmission congestion free and avoiding delay. With occurrence of an, these sensor nodes transmit huge data towards the sink. It can result in buffer overflow at the nodes which is a bottleneck for having restricted power for sensor nodes. By encounter this causes drop in data packet decreasing network throughput. Congestion in WSNs might lead to deficiency in energy because of large retransmissions and drop in data packet in turn shortening the lifetime of sensor nodes. Need to control congestion in WSNs for increasing of energy efficiency and also increasing the sensor nodes lifetime. The proposed Varied sequence reporting congestion control mechanism is to improve the network throughput, data packet delivery ratio and data packet loss. Several network part like reporting rate, sensor node density, data packet size etc. can influence congestion. The control for congestion can be done by using proposed algorithm. With increasingly deployed the sensor networks are being widely used for surveillance and analyzing applications. There are chances that these sensor networks suffer from extreme congestion the moment multiple target events are sensed. The control over congestion during this particular period is vital for not only in the improvement in the overall network throughput and extending the lifetime of the network by energy efficiency where there is a scarce in the energy exhausted due to congestion. With traditional traffic control schemes currently are to throttle the traffic that is incoming which can effectively lessen congestion, but does not increase the end-to- end throughput. Additionally, throttling of important data packets under such circumstances can basically nullify the basic functionality of sensor networks. In this paper, we primarily attempt for defining traffic, resource control framework which adjusts the traffic resource conditioning at the hotspot sensor nodes. For accurate congestion detection, we propose a congestion detection mechanism that measures the level of congestion accurately and efficiency of energy at both node-level and flow-level. The contribution of this paper is in terms of basing on novel cluster protocol for wireless sensor network (WSN). This protocol is designed with distributed selection and reporting in view of selecting the nodes that are based by employing their optimizing energy levels which are designated as cluster heads and also considering the, delay in communication for energy conservation. The efficiency of energy is observed in better state compared with other protocols in view of number of alive nodes and number of dead nodes.
