Safety and Privacy Preservation for group Communications in Vehicular ad Hoc Networks
Abstract - An increasing number of studies investigate providing secure communications in vehicular Ad Hoc networks (VANETs). Establishing a session key is a critical process for two parties to communicate securely. To ensure security when sending messages through wireless networks, we propose a scheme that can satisfy basic security requirements such as mutual authentication, confidentiality and data integrity, anonymity, and non-repudiation. Our scheme involves using a bilinear map for session key agreement, which provides the scheme with an efficient and secure service for users.
