Paper Title :
Effect of Feed Point Position on Metamaterial based Patch Antenna

Author :Ajit Vasekar, Mahesh Mathpati

Article Citation :Ajit Vasekar ,Mahesh Mathpati , (2018 ) " Effect of Feed Point Position on Metamaterial based Patch Antenna " , International Journal of Advance Computational Engineering and Networking (IJACEN) , pp. 33-37, Volume-6, Issue-7

Abstract : Microstrip Patch Antennas can be fed by different techniques such as coaxial feeding, microstrip feeding, aperture coupled feeding and proximity coupled feeding. A coaxial feeding technique is used in this paper for feeding patch. CSRR unit is etched on patch to get multiband frequencies. This paper describes effect of change in position of the feed point on patch antenna. The simulations were carried out on CADFEKO 14.0 software. Antenna parameters (reflection coefficient, VSWR, bandwidth, impedance, gain, radiation pattern) were noted for different positions of the feed point. Results were compared for choosing the best feed point position.
