Abstract : Wireless networks have progressed from the first generation (1G) to the recent fifth generation (5G), focusing on
aspects such as data rate, end-to-end latency, reliability, energy efficiency, coverage, and spectrum utilization. According to
the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), 5G networks feature three primary usage scenarios: enhanced mobile
broadband (eMBB), ultra-reliable and low latency communication (URLLC), and massive machine-type communications
(mMTC) to support a variety of services. Technologies like millimeter-wave (mmWave), massive multiple-input multipleoutput
(MIMO), and device-to device (D2D) communications are utilized to provide users with improved quality of service
(QoS) and quality of experience (QoE), as well as to enhance overall network performance.
