Abstract : In this study, training of artificial neural networks was done using bat algorithm. The basic criterion that indicates the performance of an artificial neural network is the training of the network. In generally, the training of artificial neural networks is done by back propagation training algorithms. In this study, the bat optimization algorithm is used as training algorithm in artificial neural networks. The performance of the developed artificial neural networks was tested on UCI data sets and the results were compared with the results obtained from the literature. As a result of comparison, reasonable results were obtained in Artificial Neural Networks training with Bat Algorithm.
