Maximizing Lifetime Of Wireless Sensor Network By Minimizing Delay

Abstract
In this paper we discuss about how to elongate the lifetime of the wireless sensor networks. WSNs mainly has a problem to prolong the lifetime of the network because once the nodes are deployed, the batteries can neither be replaced nor recharged. In order to improve the lifetime of the WSN, we work to minimize the delay and energy consumption and maximize the lifetime. In our paper, we discuss about traffic congestion and developed some new formulae. This may increase delay as compared to [1], but traffic congestion will not occur. In this paper, we also discuss about power consumption ratio and the expected lifetime.
