Abstract : Healthcare IT is now heading in developing countries. Country like India needs smart systems where it can reach the rural population of the country. Awareness about the breast cancer screening if very low and clinicians are not able to reach rural population with all the screening systems. It requires a mobile scanning system which is handy and easy to carry. Also the system used to diagnose the breast cancer should be non-invasive and make the people comfortable, whoever comes for screening. This literature gives the brief introduction to the available imaging systems used to diagnose breast cancer.
