Abstract : In this advance technologically modern era of software and hardware, modern graphics, and very complex image processing, it has become very easy to forge a counterfeit note, thus it becomes increasingly crucial to differentiate the real note from the fake one. This paper aims to build a model to detect the Indian real paper currency notes from the fake notes of the Indian currency with the help basic image processing algorithm in Artificial Intelligence using Deep learning’s Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) algorithm in Python for the new Rs 200 and Rs 500 denominations of the Indian currency. Here real currency datasets along with the fake currency datasets of the same denomination is used to train the said CNN model. And finally show the predicted result in a UI where the user would be able to upload the validation picture of choice (currency) to perform the prediction.
