Abstract : In this research, we delve into the realm of CloudSim to explore its application in simulating cloud computing environments. Our primary aim is to assess the efficacy of CloudSim as a tool for modeling and analyzing complex cloud systems. Employing a structured methodology, we conduct simulations to understand the behavior of cloud- based scenarios and evaluate the performance of various components within the simulated environment. This paper provides a comprehensive overview of the landscape, offering insights into the significance of cloud computing and the role of simulation in this domain. We discuss the implementation of CloudSim, detailing the parameters and variables employed in our experiments. Through a series of simulations and experiments, we scrutinize the outcomes to extract meaningful findings. Our key discoveries shed light on the effectiveness of CloudSim in accurately representing the intricacies of cloud computing. We present these results in a lucid manner, using graphical representations and analyses to facilitate a deeper understanding. The implications of our findings are discussed in the context of existing literature, highlighting the contributions and limitations of our study.
