Abstract : Optimizing computational resource utilization for improved accuracy in grid computing environments is a crucial area of research driven by rapid technological advancements. Grid computing, distinct from traditional distributed computing, emphasizes large-scale resource sharing and high-performance orientation. It leverages a network of computational devices, potentially spanning continents, to act as a cohesive system maximizing resource utilization. Effective resource management and job sharing are vital in grid systems, ensuring the efficient allocation and utilization of computational resources. This paper surveys various models and strategies for optimizing resource utilization in grid environments, considering factors such as the computational grid's requirements, environmental conditions, resources, virtual machines, and job profiles. In addition, it delves into the latest advancements in algorithms and technologies that enhance resource allocation precision and computational accuracy. Each model's strengths and weaknesses are examined to provide a comprehensive understanding of their applicability and effectiveness in enhancing computational accuracy. Furthermore, this paper discusses the challenges and future directions in the field, emphasizing the need for adaptive and scalable solutions in evolving grid computing landscapes. Keywords - Grid computing, Distributed systems, Resource allocation, Scheduling, Optimization.
