Abstract : In this paper an inventory control problem has been considered in fuzzy environment. In inventory, holding costs, set-up costs etc. may be flexible with vagueness in their values. Fuzzy set theory has been used to convert the fuzzy model into a crisp one. Compensatory operator and weighted compensatory operator have been used to aggregate the fuzzy membership functions corresponding to fuzzy sets for fuzzy objectives & constraints. This aggregation gives the overall achievement function and the model takes the form of a Geometric Programming (GP) Problem. GP algorithm has been used to solve the problem. Keywords— Inventory Control Problem, Fuzzy Objectives, Fuzzy Constraints, Membership Function, Compensatory Operator, Weighted Compensatory Operator, Quadratic Achievement Function, Geometric Programming.
