Paper Title :
Query Optimization for Big data analytics in Healthcare over Heterogeneous Databases

Author :Manoj Muniswamaiah, Charles Tappert

Article Citation :Manoj Muniswamaiah ,Charles Tappert , (2019 ) " Query Optimization for Big data analytics in Healthcare over Heterogeneous Databases " , International Journal of Advance Computational Engineering and Networking (IJACEN) , pp. 20-24, Volume-7, Issue-8

Abstract : Big data analytics is playing an important role in healthcare practices and research. It has been successfully adopted for disease exploration and care delivery. Structured and unstructured data produced by healthcare systems have been stored, processed and analyzed efficiently using big data tools. Cost based query optimizer helps in querying data from different data sources. In this paper we modify and improve cost based query optimizer to query data from disparate data sources for big data analytics. Keywords - Big Data, Data Systems, Analytical Query, Query Optimizer, Materialization.
